We will post everyone’s picks on Saturday morning, 11/6/10. We can’t wait to see the final table!!! The winner will be announced on Wednesday, November 10th. Good luck to everyone who entered, and best of luck to the November Nine!
9th person out is Soi Nguyen 28 hands into the Final Table.
8th player out is Matthew Jarvis. His 9c-9h fell against Mizrachi’s Ad-Qd. Mizrachi had the hand when the flop came As-Qh-8d. The turn brought a set to Jarvis when the 9s fell. The river was the As giving Mizrachi a full house, and sending Jarvis out in 8th place.
7th player out was Jason Senti. All his chips went in with Ad-Ks versus Cheong’s 10c-10s. Kd-Kh-Qc came on the flop, Jd on the turn. Senti was sent out in 7th when the river was a 9d, giving Cheong the straight versus Senti’s trip kings.
John Dolan was the sixth player out. Shoving with Qd-5d he didn’t improve against Duhamel’s 4d-4c.
5th place went to Mizrachi when Duhamel slow played his pocket rockets. Mizrachi saw a flop with Qd-8h. 5d-4c-Qc on the flop. With top pair, Mizrachi shoved, Duhamel called. Mizrachi got no love on the turn or the river and walked with 5th place money.
Candio was the 4th place finisher. He shoved with Kd-Qd. Cheong called with Ac-3c, found another Ace on the flop, and improved to a straight by the river.
Cheong finished in third place.
On Monday, Duhamel and Racener meet for head-to-head battle. In our FFT Battle, we have a three way tie between chattycathy517, monkeyboi2k3 and RoyHobbsJr734. There are still a ton of contenders – keep an eye on the web site – when heads-up play is finished, we will declare a winner!!!
